Dear Rachel,
Well, who would have thought, that I had a „really strong wardrobe” and a “great eye for clothes”? If anybody, then certainly not me! With her deep passion and understanding about clothes and the people who wear them, Rachel came to my house and helped me to orientate in the fashion jungle. With great enthusiasm she built on my resources and pulled out the “great” pieces from my closet. (And without further mention she discarded a good few not-so-great ones). Then we went into the cellar, where I keep clothes that I currently don’t wear. And that was my biggest surprise and gain: Rachel showed me ways to combine my new and old pieces in a completely new way! So, already without buying anything, I now have a whole new wardrobe! Plus, I really know now what to buy to complete it and what things to leave on the shelf. Dear Rachel, I want to thank you for the great skin care and makeup day we had.I really learned a lot. You have a wonderful ability to understand deeply and be able to attend to the unstated, but very important, issues that I had regarding my sense of beauty, worth and just plain viability in this beauty-culture. My first thought was that this was going to be difficult, a day of looking at myself and trying to figure out makeup. Instead it became a journey of self-expression and finding myself in the mirror. You listen very gently and show true empathy and compassion. And you are also so confident in your assessment of each person's beauty and specialness, and now I feel that way too. Before our session, I was feeling so sad that I look so old and grey and feeling that my face felt tight and stressed and so uncolorful. Now my face feels fresh, clean and comfortable; moisturized and happy. The lines that I was seeing before are now not just ridges in my face! Also, before our session, I did not, repeat not, like to look at myself in the mirror. I always felt that it just didn't relate to what I feel like - energetic, postive, interested and open. Now I am so much more comfortable with looking at myself. And I've found that since our session, what I see in the mirror is actually the person I feel like I am. Since the session, I've grown up, I willingly take responsibility for my welfare and my beauty. And I am so pleased to be able to present to the world the person who I am.
